Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) are often used when conducting work-at-height activities, such as construction and RMAA (Renovation, Maintenance, Alteration and Addition) works. Improper use of MEWP may result in serious or even fatal accidents, such as workers' bodies being trapped between the MEWP and other ceiling fixtures, collapsing of MEWP, or workers falling from heights. OSHC Construction Safety & Health Committee will launch an online seminar on 6 March 2026 (Friday), at which the representative from Labour Department will analyze accident cases; the representative from the Council will introduce training courses related to the topic.
Enrollment will be closed on 2 March 2026 (Monday).
Target audience: Practitioners from the construction, RMAA, property management companies and individuals interested in the topic.
Applicants must provide an email address for getting the statement of attendance. The individual email address used for enrolment should be the same as the email address used to login to your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with the online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
